The story behind Dix Mondu Frère

Our Story.

Meet the Visionary Owners Behind Dix Mondu Frère. The co-founder of Dix Mondu Frère, Bora Hamamioglu, always had a passion for luxury retail and entrepreneurship. “At DMF, we can sell our products with confidence because we have in-depth knowledge of fabrics,” says the owner. “I have taken many courses throughout my career, which allows me to ensure that we are selling not just knowledge, but also passion and quality. The best feeling is selling a garment knowing that there is no doubt about its quality.” This passion started early with an internship at the fashion store Tribute at the age of 15, where he gained firsthand experience in the retail industry. This early exposure paved the way for further opportunities with Hugo Boss and Giorgio Armani, equipping him with the skills and insights needed to build his own luxury brand, Dix Mondu Frère.

The second owner and co-founder of the luxury brand Dix Mondu Frère is Milan van Manen. He brings a unique mix of corporate experience and passion for fashion. After holding key leadership roles in various industries, he pursued his passion for fashion by co-founding the brand. His vision has led to rapid recognition for the brand's refined craftsmanship and timeless elegance. He not only shapes the brand's collections but also advocates for inclusivity and empowerment, fostering a culture where diversity is celebrated and emerging talent is encouraged.
